This course lasts 3 hours.
It includes:
- What is deaf awareness
- What it’s like being deaf
- The differences between deaf people
- The barriers that deaf people face
- Fingerspelling
- Lipreading
- Communication tactics
Please note with all courses that we are able to tailor them to suit your needs.
This session can be run for between 8 and 12 people, though it may be possible to cater for larger or smaller groups by arrangement.
Attendees will receive a Deafness Matters certificate of attendance.
